I just discovered peanut butter powder and I am over the moon in love! Anyone on a low fat diet or cutting for a bodybuilding contest whatever division you are in knows how hard it is to be able to enjoy copious amounts of things like peanut butter, dark chocolate, butter and other high fat foods during their contest prep or on their low-fat diet.
PBfit is pretty much like finding gold… During my current cut phase, 5 weeks out to a contest for a figure and bikini competition, I actually got to eat ants on a log, PBfit and jelly sandwich and a PBfit chocolate smoothie. OMG….
Most of the time I just eat it with a spoon! Just add water! It mixes well, tastes great and is just plain super fantastic! PB2 is also another peanut butter powder that is similar.
Anywhere a recipe calls for regular peanut butter, just make the peanut butter powder to its creamy form by adding water and mixing, then use in the desired recipe. You can use it in the powdered form when making smoothies, ice cream, in hot cocoa and so on.
In a 2 tbsp serving, there is 1.5g fat, 4 carbs and 5g protein.
I bought mine at Sam’s Club. Enjoy!
1) Peanut butter protein shake:
Add a spoonful of peanut butter powder to your normal protein shake for extra protein and flavor.
My fav is 36g of chocolate protein, 80g of frozen bananas, 4 Tbsp PB Fit and 6-8oz of liquid (water, almond milk etc).
2) Peanut butter powder pancakes or waffles:
Do 1 of 2 things: either add two teaspoons of PB Fit powder to your pancake or waffle batter for a roasted peanut taste, or make up some PB Fit to its creamy form by just adding water and putting it on top. Try these Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Waffles that use PB powder!
